Today is #worldprematurityday and it's a well celebrated day in my house. You see, we have what is called a #superpreemie. He was due to arrive on July 4th but instead my water broke on April 1st when I was only at 26 weeks pregnant. I was flown to lucilepackardfoundation (where the most beautiful angles work) to be on bed rest and keep the baby "cooking". We were not ready for that. We hadn't even taken our parenting classes and were moving, it was the busiest year for the company and I had lots of weddings between then and when the baby was supposed to come. It was so scary, when you googled "premature baby" there was information on how they die but not a lot on how they lived. I spent three weeks in the hospital on bedrest and was monited 24/7. Friends, family and clients sent me flowers, books, pretty things and did their best to cheer me up. I was scared, angry, restless, stressed and exhausted.
