Meet, Farangis Wafa Muhseni. 💚 Farangis is a cosmetology student at Emily Griffith Technical College and even shared some of the battles she has faced prior to coming to our college. Farangis states, "I am from Afghanistan, as a woman we are not allowed to attend school. Being a refuge was one of the biggest challenges that I have faced prior to coming here. The Taliban attacked on multiple occasions and we consistently had to move and restart our life. I had to uproot not only my life but my families life multiple times, moving from Russia back to home and now to Colorado. My life was full of challenges in that aspect. Now me, my husband have to support 3 kids (twins ages 10 and the youngest age 8), as him and I are learning English, I am going to school and we are working as much as we can to provide for them.
