This picture right here, encompasses me entirely. I am someone who truly appreciates a good, big belly laugh. I believe in the thought that laughter is is the best medicine and it is good for the soul. When I started my own event planning company back in 2004, I knew I wanted to help people. I was a venue manager and I saw an extra need for couples getting married. In 2008, I partnered with Heidi Hughett to create Coastside Couture where we curated hundreds of beautiful events with an amazing team and so many wonderful vendors. At the end of 2019, I made one of the hardest decisions ever by selling my part of Coastside and going off on my own. Without knowing what 2020 was to bring to the event industry I inadvertently got some "forced" time off. I can't explain how grateful I have been for this time to reflect, look back at all I have accomplished and understand where I want to go.
