Finally got the bog filter up and running! Water is pumped out of the pond into the filter releasing at the bottom of the barrel. The water rises through pea gravel to help filter out the water and promoting good bacteria growth (native plants are coming). Once the water is high enough it cascades into an open tube pouring back into the pond. It has already significantly cleaned up the pond.
