Today on #NateGeo we have the larvae of an Asparagus beetle. These were already chowing down on some of the greenery of our asparagus so I grabbed my camera to grab some shots of them. These pests can decimate your crops for next year. What happens is they eat the greens of your plant this season which prevents the asparagus from storing enough energy over winter to grow in abundance next year.
