One of the reasons I love macro photography is because I get to see the world close up. Today I got to see this #OrchardSpider which is a species of #OrbWeavers. Because I don’t know too much about them, I chose to read up on them. Some things I learned about them are: 🌈 they have a vibrant appearance. The females (which I believe this is) exhibit vivid greens and yellows to iridescent blues and purples. Males possess more subdued hues and longer legs. 🎶 When a male approaches a females web, he will carefully pluck the threads to create a unique pattern, a love song of vibrations. If she is receptive, she will begin a dance.
