During this past week, campers explored alternative energy usage and 3D CAD modeling/design/3D printing. Campers also learned how to efficiently harness wind and water energies. They then used TinkerCAD to design their own name tags as well as plan, create, and test catapults made from household materials. The camper as teams designed, built, and programmed their own custom remotely controlled robot to compete in a Friarbots original design VEX game. Parents attended a student-led presentation on Friday to learn about their camper's accomplishments. This week, campers are constructing LEGO battle bots to compete against fellow campers in another Friarbots-exclusive game!
