Last weekend, the Servite Robotics Friarbots Team 3309 qualified 9th out of 42 teams at the Beach Blitz competition at Capistrano Valley High School. They made it all the way to the quarterfinals in a very competitive field of robotics teams from as far as Idaho. The Friarbots have co-hosted the Beach Blitz robotics competition since 2015 providing teams from the western US an off-season opportunity for their new students to experience a competition.
