Today we celebrate all the men and women who have entered the glory of God's presence in heaven. This communion of saints, formally recognized and unknown, we believe intercedes for us and beckons us to that total, life-giving transformation in Christ. They were ordinary men and women, sinful and fallen, who gave their lives over to God's radiant beauty and were thus transformed and are true models for us to live by. This feast dates back to the middle of the first millennium, and we continue rejoicing today in the divine life God offers to us all.
