Each McLain City Year team member served in a classroom alongside a partner teacher, tutoring students and acting as near-peer mentors. As their year of service comes to a close, here are some of their goodbyes to their students and the school. Mr. Aidan: "The school year’s coming to an end, so it’s time for me to say goodbye. It feels like it happened so fast, and I’m so bummed I couldn’t close out the year with you in person. I had such an amazing time getting to know you, chatting, sharing laughs, working on math, and the experience is going to stick with me for the rest of my life. Try not to be sad that I’m leaving, and instead focus on the good times we had while I was here. I’m not abandoning you, I instead was able to be with you for a year that we otherwise wouldn’t have had together, and that time is coming to an end.
