On December 12th the Church celebrates #OurLadyofGuadalupe, the Marian apparition that blessed a Mexican peasant named Juan Diego in 1531. Seeing this vision of Mary, then having roses grow in the middle of winter to prove Mary's protective intercession to the archbishop, led to 9 million Aztecs converting to the Christian faith within seven years. As Servants of Mary, we celebrate Mass today honoring the Blessed Mother and her role in salvation history.
