🤪Dumb mistakes as a first-time Founder
#2:
Wanted to do everything
❌ I haven’t filled that specific role yet.
❌ I hired the wrong person for that role.
❌ I hired someone at the wrong seniority for that role.
❌ I haven’t shared enough context with them.
❌ I haven’t clearly defined their areas of responsibility.
❌ I haven’t empowered them to make the decision.
A great skill a founder/CEO can acquire:
→ Talent for deference.
I know founders who struggle to let go of responsibility.
As the founder/CEO, you have one job:
1️⃣ Look at where you’re spending your time, then fire yourself from that position.
🎯 Goal as a Founder:
Become completely unnecessary to the day-to-day operations of the company.
That way you can scale, grow, and think about what matters.
That's how we could become serial Founders.
