The last time this team competed was March 7, 2020. 50 weeks ago. Today, the Falcons finally had the opportunity to race. Lile everything 2020-21, it was unique. February XC. Snowy course. Abundant COVID-19 prevention measures. But it was a race, and it was a good one. The men set the tone with a dominant 19-point score. We were led by the 1-2-3 finish of Jared Putney, Austin Weese, and Elius Graff. Brayden Schultz and Colin Boutin finished in a near-tie for 6th, and Jon Owen was 10th. The women followed it up with a score of 18. Dania Holmberg and Belle Brandenfels led with a 1-2 finish, followed by Kelsey Washenberger (4th), Elizabeth Thompson (5th), Ellie Rising (6th), and Libby Michael (8th). Two races. Two wins.
