From first-time model to one of the most iconic figures in contemporary film, this British woman was at the right place at the right time. 🗽⁠ ⁠ In 1992, artist #MichaelDeas was commissioned by #ColumbiaPictures to update its famous logo by painting a modern version of Miss Liberty. He recruited photographer #KathyAnderson, who was working for local newspaper @nolanews, to capture images of the creative process. When she was scouting for models, one of her colleagues suggested #JennyJoseph. ⁠ ⁠ In a 2012 interview with @wwltv, the 28-year old, who never modeled again, said, “They wrapped a sheet around me and I held a regular little desk lamp, a side lamp.
