In the early
#2000s, no one was safe from
#tabloid culture— including
#KateHudson. She says, "It was like harassment, eating away at me. It was so negative."
In a conversation for the siriusxm podcast
#LetsTalkOffCamera with kellyripa, Hudson recalls how mean they were to women: "The body shaming from being too skinny to too fat, to then going up your skirt, and from the cellulite."
Since celebs didn't have the ability to control their own narratives like they do today on social media, Hudson couldn’t even "speak to a man without being partnered with him." She says she learned to protect her peace by ignoring headlines, otherwise "you’re letting them win the more you feel bad."
