A car door from #Banksy’s ‘Crazy Horse’ mural is up for auction and is estimated to sell for $200,000. The artwork shows two vehicles with a powerful scene: charging horses coming toward a group of terrified people. This imagery was further intensified by including audio – a phone number that, when dialed, played clips from a 2007 Apache airstrike in Baghdad carried out by a helicopter with the call sign “Crazy Horse 18”. The piece first appeared in 2013, as part of the artist’s residency in New York City called Better Out Than In.
