On this day 19 years ago, we as a country lost 2,977 people in New York City, Washington, DC and outside of Shankville, Pennsylvania. It was on this day 19 years ago that we have since seen the haunting videos, photographs, and audio recordings and asked ourselves “Why did this have to happen?” As we remember the fallen today, remember the empty space left in their family and friends lives. Let us also take a moment to appreciate every moment of our days because life can be taken so quickly.
