On Saturday, February 19, Amelie LaPlume who is a senior band student at Rockford, performed at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, MN. Amelie, who plays the bass clarinet, was selected to perform this year in All-State Orchestra. Amelie was the only bass clarinet player in the ensemble. Being selected into All-State as a wind player in orchestra is a huge honor and is reserved for very select players. Last year, as a junior, Amelie was selected into All-State Band so this was Amelie’s 2nd year being a part of the All-State experience. Congratulations Amelie! #RocketPride #Rockets883
