A small group of tenants gathered outside the Park Crest Terrace Apartments Tuesday morning to protest the rising rent prices. The event was organized by the People’s Defense Front and took place within the Park Crest Terrace office at 11 a.m., with tenants entering the office and immediately asking to speak with management to discuss their concerns. Two employers at the front desk requested the tenants leave the office and wait outside but the tenants remained inside. Shortly after, the police were called and arrived.
