Just a couple of knuckleheads waiting for power to come back. D is a trooper. Tomorrow will mark a week without power. This experience has definitely given me a new perspective. If anyone is wondering I miss a warm shower more then anything else. My little propane bbq has been a life saver. I can cook and boil water and have had wood for the wood stove up until this morning. I’ve seen a few trucks from the power company go by today and I’m hoping today is the day power is turned back on, however I’ve seen some other peoples post saying it could be up to another week for people in Springfield🤞. I’m grateful for the neighbors who have helped out with charging the phone and batteries and sharing there supplies and information. Springfield has opened a respite center at the high school and I may go there for dinner tonight if power isn’t back on. I hope everyone is doing okay I know this has been tough on the community.
