This is definitely one of my favorite moon photos that I’ve captured. When I look at this image it brings me back to the moment in time it was taken. It was a warm September evening. The full moon was rising up over the hillside. I took this from the parking lot of the Dean’s creek Elk viewing area. If you haven’t ever been there you really should. That night the elk were very active. The bulls were bugling and the coyotes were literally howling at the moon. It was such a cool night. I will never forget it.
