My first real attempt at capturing star trails. It took me 5 nights to get something I was happy with. I learned a lot in those 5 nights. One interesting thing I learned was that Autzen has an owl living in the rafters. Everybody knows that there is an Osprey living there but through out the 5 different nights I spent at the stadium I would see the owl (almost positive it’s a barn owl) come out of the east side rafters in between 10 and 11 pm. It would head off for a night of hunting in and around Alton Baker park and return back to the stadium and fly back into the east side of the stadium.
