Happy eight days to move in! Let's talk a little about CSC's history, shall we? In 1911, Nebraska State Normal School opened in Chadron with 111 students enrolled. A football team was started the first year the school was open, and the students had a garden to grow all their own food! The school was officially accredited as a teacher's college in 1915, and the rest is history. Over the next 109 years, the small teacher's college grew to include 49 majors, 8 graduate programs, about 2,500 undergraduate students and a pride for tradition.
