A final farewell for Lance Corporal Jose 'Jo-Jo' Jimenez in Glendale, AZ. Jimenez is a Marine Corps Medal of Honor receipient, having received the Nation's highest honor for acts of gallantry in Vietnam on August 28th, 1969. Jimenez was also a Mexican national, not an American citizen when he chose to enlist in the United States Marine Corps after high school in Eloy, AZ. It was an amazing experience to learn about Jimenez, but an even more amazing experience to see the local Marine Corps and military community come together to put a Marine brother to rest in his adopted country.
