Adding on to our highlights from the year, the RS crew helped bring the first remote driven car to Goodwood. The S-DRONE is a prototype testbed developed by Samsung and Portland-based startup Designated Driver to showcase the capabilities of Samsung’s 5G network. The vehicle is completely remote-driven, with data and video fed over a 5G network via Samsung phones, and piloted from a remote location by professional fun-haver Vaughn Gittin Jr. We crafted a full campaign around the S-Drone concept: from creative direction and design elements, to producing the live experience. Tying it together with a digital strategy that combined real-time content with event coverage designed for media consumption. The S-Drone itself was graphically designed to immediately communicate the unique nature of the vehicle.
