A fun exercise would be to explain my thought process about certain shots so I’ll explain why I liked this. I thought that the stairs and the fence behind them complimented each other because they are both equal and opposite (one going up and one going down in opposing directions). Also, I’m a fan of patterns so the vertical lines on the wall look good with the vertical lines on the fence. Also, I enjoyed the contrast between the organic shapes of the vegetation and the geometric shapes of the man made materials. Of course, I don’t think about this at the time of taking the shot, it comes to me naturally and I have to think about why I like it after.
