Today I went to my first ever dawn service at Mentone RSL which I have been going to since I was a baby with having my grandfather being the president there. It was amazing to see how many come out in the cold and rain to reflect and show support to the past and present who have served this great nation and New Zealand. I ended up there that early to film the ceremony and interview some of the people involved there for uni. I may need to go to more dawn service as they feel a lot more sincere for the day.
