Brothers Costa and Dimitrios Papanikolaou of the McGill Redbirds have each been issued a 12-year ban for multiple anti-doping rule violations.
It was initially discovered via urine sample in October 2021 that the brothers were using Ligandrol, SARM LGD-4033 which can increase muscle mass and boost athletic performance.
After successfully challenging the allegations however, another finding was discovered in October 2022, and the siblings are now ineligible to participate in any sport governed by the Canadian Anti-Doping Program.
