Front man Joe Elliott says the song was inspired by Aerosmith’s and Run-DMC’s 1986 smash hit “Walk This Way,” saying “…it was only written because Run-DMC and Aerosmith had done “Walk This Way.” All of the sudden, rock and rap did mix, so we wrote our own.” #DefLeppard #PourSomeSugarOnMe #RockMusic #JoeElliott
