TW: protests, injustice These pictures depict the current #FarmerProtest that is happening in Punjab (northern state of India) right now. The farmers of Punjab are protesting new agricultural bills that affect their livelihood and their ability to survive in their industry. Part of their protest is a march to Delhi, which is happening now, but they’ve been met with violence and attacks. I am still educating myself, chatting with organizations and doing the work to understand the complexities of these bills, but it is clear from the violence at these protests that there is great injustice going on. Unfortunately this is an injustice we see too often. And to make matters worse, injustices are often paired with a lack of coverage or information. This is not okay and I stand with the farmers.
