A few days ago I had the privilege of attending TerryCrews 30th anniversary with his amazing wife Rebecca and can I just say, holy COUPLE GOALS. All catchy internet phrases aside though, spending time with Terry, no matter how brief, is always a very inspiring, eye-opening experience for me. I think it’s because he breaks so many moulds I have been convinced are permanent. Young Lilly didn’t think a big, strong, muscular man could ever have a heart of gold and encourage vulnerability…but Terry does. Young Lilly didn’t grow up seeing such a successful and powerful man happily giving the spotlight to his wife… but Terry does. And as I continue to grow older, perhaps I’ve been connived that in the entertainment industry, people generally do not lead with values and speak from their core…but Terry does. He’s been nothing but wonderful to me and everyone else around me, every opportunity he gets. Today, on his birthday, I wish this magnificent human lots of love, light, inspiration, success...
