#WhyIRelayWednesday 💜🎗 "I relay for my mom, who lost" her battle to ovarian cancer in February 2023. For months she suffered from symptoms that resembled those of common illnesses, but no treatment or antibiotic was working. She finally received her diagnosis in March 2022 after a trip to the ER, where a CT scan highlighted the tumor. Ovarian cancer is the deadliest reproductive cancer affecting women, yet there’s no screening test for it. I relay in honor of my mom and the countless others who have lost their battle or are currently battling cancer, as well as for their caregivers and loved ones.
