This was not only my first wedding of 2022 but it was also the first wedding after Dad passed 🤍 I knew there would be a daddy-daughter dance but I did not think it would affect me like it did 🤍 the curtains weren’t meant to be artistic but to hide the fact that I was sobbing 😅🥰 My dad wasn’t a dancer and it’s not something we did often 😂 my daddy-daughter dance wasn’t planned, I just decided to do it spur of the moment! We began dancing to YYZ by rush 😂😂😂 But I think why the daddy-daughter dance was so hard is because I know my little sister won’t get the option to dance with dad at her wedding. I almost feel guilty that I did get to (yes I know I don’t need to feel that way, leave me alone 😘). Missing someone is less of missing the memories you already have and sad for the memories we won’t get to make.
