When asked to create cookies inspired by the latest Enola Holmes movie, I knew that I had to incorporate English and Victorian themes and details. With past cookie sets I have always gone with more bold colors and details. But this set definitely challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and try new techniques. Although I kept the dark, bold colors to represent Enola’s strength, I also wanted to incorporate details that represented her femininity. While creating these I feel in love the the Victorian wallpaper backgrounds and the tiny scrabble sized cookies, simply because they were so different than anything I’ve created before.
