An exclusive question and answer session with Tomas Montén, Team Sweden's World Juniors Coach. • Julie: Let’s chat about some of your players to help our audience get to know your team better and who they should keep their eye on. How do you anticipate Eklund will contribute to the team this year? • Montén: He was really good last year and took some really big steps. He would have been on the team last year if it weren’t for COVID. He’s really competitive and a guy that works really hard, and when he went to the draft, I said this is a guy that can play on your fourth line or your first line. He’ll take pucks to the net or go head first to try to block a shot if he’s playing in a defensive role. • His edge and competitiveness is the best thing about him, but he’s also a really good skater and that makes him hard to play against when he’s moving his feet.
