#FunFacts you probably don't know about
#MooncakeFestival:
1) Mooncake was named by Concubine Yang in Tang Dynasty on a Mid-Autumn Festival. She was originally eating a cake with sesame fillings and nobody could tell her the name of the cake. She saw the bright moon and thought that the cake is as round as the moon, thus the name of "mooncake" is born. (rather random right ?😂)
2) Mooncake symbolize family reunion. The right way to eat a 🥮 is to share one with all your family members, cut into pieces for each member. Even if they are not home at the moment, people store their piece for them until they come home. (aw)
3) Mooncakes were once used to deliver military messages! For safety and secrecy, legendary general Zhu Yuanzhang inserted hidden notes into mooncakes and sent them to various resistance forces calling for uprising on Mid-Autumn. This led to a successful revolution and he became the first Emperor of Ming Dynasty! (Mooncake revolution?😳)
