The Queen celebrates her Official Birthday with a magnificent display of pomp and pageantry by the Foot Guards of the Household Division, The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and the Household Calvary Mounted Regiment, with music by a Massed Band of the Household Division. The Queen celebrates two birthdays each year: her actual birthday on 21 April and her official birthday on (usually) the second Saturday in June. Official celebrations to mark the Sovereigns' birthday have often been held on a day in the Summer other than the actual birthday, when there is there is a greater likelihood of good weather for the Birthday Parade, also known as #TroopingtheColour.
