Still a little sore from Sundays race, but back at the gym focusing on strength training.....
I will still incorporate a little bit of running in my training but it will not be my focus. Running gives me an outlet for my anxiety and mental health so I can't totally eliminate it, 1-2 long easy runs per week is perfect for me....
Strength training is crucial for establishing a healthy lifestyle especially being in my 40's, building muscle will increase metabolism, give my body the best chance to fight off any illnesses, and keep my energy levels up 👊🦁
