Congratulations to the 98 Investiture recipients who travelled to Buckingham Palace to collect their Awards today. The Prince of Wales presented Leslie Tomlinson with an #MBE, for his work in amateur boxing – Leslie has volunteered over 50,000 hours since 1982 to the sport, supporting and encouraging young people in Sheffield. Helen Clarke, also from Sheffield, collected an #MBE for services to girlguiding, Professor Shirley Thompson received an #OBE for services to Music and Andrew Gritt #MBE was awarded for his work in nursing, mental health and the armed forces.
