Deepening our own practice of asana and making our classes richer and more satisfying for our students requires us to be on a continual journey into the inquiry and exploration of how the body moves.
Asanas for Meditative Postures 1 is one of five Pranakriya movement studies programs designed to provide you knowledge, practice, and experience on your journey as a practitioner and teacher. This course explores a variety of postures, sequences, and class themes. Benefits, potential stress points, modifications, variations, prop use, assisting, layers of meaning and energetics will be covered. Students will participate in individual practice and exploration, observation, and discussion.
