The Duke of Cambridge, Commodore-in-Chief of the Submarine Service, lays a wreath at today's Submariners' Remembrance Service.
Submarines played a significant role throughout the First World War, including the defence of merchant shipping convoys. Approximately one-third of the Submarine Service’s personnel lost their lives during the war. #Armistice100 #LestWeForget
