Yesterday the Prince of Wales visited Vanuatu to see the work that has been done since natural disaster Cyclone Pam wreaked devastation on the island. The Prince was greeted by the President of Vanuatu and visited a traditional handicraft market - thousands of people came out to see him. HRH visited Port Vila Central Hospital, and met some of the mothers and babies who will benefit from the new facilities. Before departing Vanuatu, HRH visited a chief’s nakamal and received a chief title - Mal Menaringmanu - in a traditional ceremony.
