It’s really easy for days to get monotonous right now. A positive of that is it’s easy to spot the special ones. Today was one of those. I spent the morning with spunkylittlescholars and went to several of her students houses to take portraits of them or the whole family. #PorchPortraits Shelly calls them. The gift of photography is something special. What initially was something to do to help my partner became a true core memory. (Inside Out reference). The appreciation of the parents for us taking the time to come by was heart warming. Seeing a bunch of little learners excited to see their teacher and get dressed up for photo at home is a memory that I will have forever. Kindness is free. Big or small gestures make a difference.
