Since 2016, Maria Wright, lancastergeneralhealth rehab case manager, has volunteered with United Disability Service’s (UDS) #servicedog program. After receiving a #uterinecancer diagnosis, Wright is now on the waitlist for a service dog of her own. “Helping other people find their own service dog, and the connections I have made with my fellow #UDS volunteers, has given me a sense of purpose while waiting on my own service dog,” she said.
