This is the Lorraine Motel in Memphis when I passed through a couple days ago. It is the home of the National Civil Rights Museum and I am standing just feet from where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed! Not only was tho one of the coolest experiences of my trip, but it was or of the best experiences of my life. I was in awe at the number of parents of all races who brought their children and many we're explaining everything in great detail! This quote is from MLK's final speech, the "Mountain Top" speech, and is one of my personal favorites! "Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you.
