For the second year in a row, Washington took a flyer on a low-risk, high-reward player and it paid off again. There has been reported mutual interest in a Darby return, but the question is always about money. In all honesty I’m not sure what Darby could net on the open market, what his asking price will be and what Washington is willing to pay. I’ve seen prices get thrown out all over the place, but Washington still should be able to hold onto him after being a good contributor to the defense. I am interested in possibly upgrading CB whether that be in the draft or free agency, but I think the team plays it safe and brings back the guy they took a chance on.
