Meet Jason Cote - a Chef at Heights Catering! This Month, Jason is celebrating his ten-year anniversary with BC Dining! Jason’s career has been split – the first five years spent working in Lower Kitchen and the next five with Walsh! A day in the life of Jason is ever-changing. “It’s all over the place,” he said. “Last night we were out for a scholarship dinner. Some days you’re in prepping all day, others you’re cooking for various campus teams or organizations. It covers everything, and we stay busy!” For Jason, working in the restaurant industry has been a constant, coming from a restaurant family. Jason’s family bought a small restaurant on Beacon Hill in 1974, where he learned all about making sandwiches, cooking pizzas, and catering. “It’s been a lifelong journey,” he said. “I love the job, being around people.
