After feeling intense regret for his actions, he went to seek advice regarding his actions towards a priest. When he asked what he could do to amend his actions, the priest replied that the only way to amend his actions were to suffer the punishment after he died. Of course, this answer didn't satisfy the man, so he killed the priest and decided to ask an imam instead. Once he'd explained the situation, the imam advised him to move to another town.
