A few weeks ago, I had the great pleasure of taking engagement photos for my dear friends, Shirley & Vincent, with the help of my other dear friend & talented make-up artist, Hannah. Now, I don’t normally do engagement shoots, frankly, because they can be stressful & anxiety-inducing. But as a gesture of goodwill & as a wedding present, taking Shirley & Vincent’s photos was the least I could do. Even though I’ve known them since college, I grew a lot closer to them when I moved to LA. Because I didn’t know a lot of people back then, they always welcomed me into their home in SD for the holidays and long weekends.
