A year ago today, I took a leap of faith and moved from the DC/VA area, my home of 17 years, to Los Angeles for a new job. It's hard to believe how quickly a year goes by, especially in a new environment. Without the support, understanding, and generosity of my aunt, uncle, and cousins, I wouldn't be here. So I'm forever grateful for them. Although some days can be rough, missing all my friends and my dog back home, I know that there's a bigger reason why I'm here. Not sure what it is yet but I'm ready to continue my journey and find out what it is. So in honor of my 400th post, happy one-year anniversary to me!
